Upcoming Assessments

The following assessments were announced in class on Tuesday, August 18, 2009:

• "Are You Ready for Calculus" Quiz-- Friday, August 21st
• Unit Circle Quiz--Wednesday, August 26th
• Chapter P Test--Tuesday, September 1st

For the "Are You Ready..." Quiz review the following from the handout that we have been going over in class:

1. Factoring (#1, 12)
2. Laws of Exponents (#3, 4, 6, 8, 9)
3. Quadratics (#14, 16, 20)
4. Logarithms/Exponential Functions (#21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 30)
5. Linear Equations (#17, 36, 38, 57)

The quiz will be approximately 12-15 questions.

For the Unit Circle Quiz, you need to be able to complete a copy of the blank unit circle that you received in class on Aug. 13. You need to know the radian measures and the values of sine and cosine for each radian of the circle.
